Who we are
Alma Infantia (“Alma,” “we,” “us”) is a digital museum app for families, created by Kassandra Nolan in San Francisco. This policy covers the Alma Infantia mobile app and this website (including the museum preview).
What Alma keeps on your device
By default, artwork photos, child profiles, placards, collections, and biographies live in local storage on your phone or tablet. We do not operate a public social network of children\'s art, and we do not sell personal information.
When something leaves the device
- AI curation (optional). If you use Studio Curator / Smart Cull, Alma may send small image thumbnails (about 256px) to a secured vision service so the curator can group and title works. Full-resolution masters stay on device.
- Museum Restore (optional). If you choose a 4K restore, the selected image is sent to a restore provider to return an upscaled file. Face enhancement is off.
- Your own backup. If you export to Google Drive or Files/Photos, that copy lives in accounts or folders you control — not in an Alma cloud gallery.
- This website. Standard hosting logs (IP, browser) may be collected by our host. The locked museum preview shows only content the founder has published for demonstration — not other families' private collections.
Children's privacy
Alma is designed for parents and guardians documenting their own children\'s creativity. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children for advertising or profiling. Artists in the museum are named (or pseudonymed) only as you choose.
Purchases
Subscriptions (when available) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple\'s privacy terms also apply to that transaction.
Your choices
- Skip optional AI features — the museum still works without them.
- Delete works and artists inside the app; deleting the app removes on-device data.
- Contact us to ask questions about this policy (see Support).
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and, when required, notify you in the app or on this page.
